Free People Movement Haul + Try On

Free People Movement Haul + Try On

I used to hate not being able to shop for clothes in person. I grew up in a smaller city where we had no “good stores”. I usually ordered stuff online. It’s funny because now living in a bigger city with the stores and brands I love a drive away, I actually prefer online shopping. There’s just something about browsing and comparing in the comfort of your home. Also, receiving packages in mail is super dope and exciting.

Okay so that brings me to the stuff I got today in the mail. I just found out that Free People has a fitness line called Movement, I think they originally released it in 2014 but they just added some new looks to their collection. I was in search for new sports bras (how I found out about the line) but I wanted something a little different than what I already have. Most of my athletic wear is from Fabletics and Lululemon, but I really want to expand and try out some yoga specific brands. So I ordered stuff. And obviously I am going to show you the few things I purchased.

I ordered this sweater because of the color, it’s called theĀ Think Future Hoodie in cherry. I also ordered because of the reviews, most said it was soft and so comfy. They were 100% right. This sweater is not too heavy but perfect for Spring weather or Summer nights. Easily going to be my Summer obsession. Some reviews said to size up, and that it is cropped. I disagree. I ordered a small and I am 5’7″. It’s true to size on me and the perfect length (NOT a cropped sweater).

This is the Vision Bra, I really liked the yellow strands in the back of the bra. I am really into that color of yellow right now and the design of the pop of color only being on one side looks super dope to me! The front of the bras comes up a little higher which is nice for a Yoga class, not a fan of having my boobs almost pop out mid downward dog. The bra does not come with padding, which I was surprised that at this price point it wasn’t included as an option. I don’t mind that it doesn’t have padding but I know for some people that is a deal breaker. It has good support at least for a mid to small size chest. Someone with larger boobs may not feel like it is supportive enough. I am not sure that it’s quite worth how much you pay for it, but it’s cute and it’s a keeper for me!

This is the Dusk Bra, It is comfy and the material is nice but different than I would have expected. It’s like satin/bathing suit material but thicker, I don’t know how else to explain it haha. I wore it today for chest day, sweating in it felt kind of weird. It just feels like a bralette that I shouldn’t be working out in. I may just keep it for yoga only. I find it comfortable and very supportive, again for a mid to small sized chest. It makes the boobs look good and I think I could even get upside down in it without a nip slip! I love the design, from the straps to the coloring. Downside for some people that is neither of the bras have adjustable straps. I actually have quite a few sports bras that aren’t adjustable, so for me it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I ordered a Medium for both sport bras and they fit perfectly.

That is all! Not a huge haul but ya know, Free People stuff adds up real quick. I am definitely keeping all three items and would probably order stuff again in the future. If you have any questions, ask away below! Has anyone tried out Free People Movement, what did you think?

Thanks for stopping by!
