For my sister’s birthday this year, she flew out to Salt Lake (where I live) and we drove through Idaho up to Jackson, Wyoming. We met up with my brother who lives in Jackson and went tubing, rock climbing, took pictures in Grand Teton National Park and camped.
Okay I included one pretty low quality photo (below) of my sister and I in the car on our way to Wyoming. We unfortunately forgot to take a good one together. We got some really great shots this trip though so definitely keep scrolling down to see them!
I had been rock climbing a couple of times but never in a location this beautiful. I was actually able to climb decently high but getting climbing shoes seems tricky, they are supposed to be small…but my feet were in PAIN.
We stopped on the road heading up to the resort in Jackson Hole and we spent a good 30 to 40 minutes taking photos.
We actually sat in the middle of the road to get some cool pictures and every few seconds had to quickly dash to the side to avoid the oncoming cars. It wasn’t as sketchy as it sounds and completely worth it.
My brother has a van to store climbing gear and camp out of. It was fun getting a taste of van life for a couple days. I am definitely working on getting a bigger vehicle for my own adventures!
This trip was just about hanging out in Jackson, catching up with my siblings and spending time in nature. Jackson Hole is one of my favorite towns, if you haven’t been I really recommend planning a trip!
