I saw the Maze Runner Tuesday night with Camron and my brother Nic. Nic works in Wyoming in Grand Teton National Park. He just got into town a few days ago and I hadn't seen him in a few months so it was nice catching up! My thoughts on Maze Runner? It was intense! A lot of action but it still upheld a good story line. I actually didn't have any problems with the acting. As a matter of fact the acting was quite good. I'm so picky when it come to movies, there is always someone who's acting makes me cringe. If it's not the acting, the lines end up being horrible or the story line is non-existent. The movie wasn't necessarily amazing but I didn't have any complaints either. Simply put, it has a lot of action and excitement; it's an entertaining watch.
Earlier on in the day Camron and I decided to get out of the house and be productive, we ran a few errands. In between being productive we stopped by Bookmans (a used bookstore) and then went by Cultured, a Frozen Yogurt Cafe. Camron got a pumpkin latte (way better than Starbucks btw) and I got frozen yogurt. I found a lot of books at the bookstore that I realized as an English major I should have in my bookcase at home. Actually, there were a lot of books, classics that I should have read already. Awkward. I took the time to write up a list of all the books I should read over the next year. The list is long and some of the books on the list will be re-reads. Though I am hesitant to do so for fear of humiliation, I might go ahead and post the list in my reading list section. Don't judge...I just started reading Jane Austen's "Emma".
Anyways just wanted to check in!
