The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager Book cover

The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager

Genre: Thriller

Casey can’t stop herself from watching her neighbors across the lake. When her neighbor goes missing, she begins investigating what’s really been happening at Lake Greene.

Casey lost her husband in an accident at their lake house a year ago. Now that she is back at the lake she is confronting the reality of what happened to not only her husband but a string of murders in the area.

MY THOUGHTS:
🔪So, I was hooked immediately and I would say it’s pretty fast-paced. I really enjoyed this book and though there were possibly cliché aspects, like the title itself, for example, I think that may have been the point.

🔪It felt like a very classic but engaging neighborhood thriller with some wild twists that I really didn’t expect.

Yup, I recommend this one and I think it might even be one of my top reads this year!

Have you read it yet? Have you read any other Riley Sager books? This one definitely won’t be my last!
